I went on my first date with Shawn.....
And life would never be the same.....
He rescued a confused and grieving soul, a heart broken girl....
2 weeks before Shawn asked me out, I kneeled down and said a prayer for the first time in two years...
and asked Heavenly Father for a few things....
One of which was to send me a good husband who would love, care for & protect Gavin and I......
And guess what?
He did....

OH my goodness!!!! The Lord and his tender mercies. That is so precious. Im glad you posted this. It makes me remember how lucky i am too. WOW!!! you look so young and pretty in the pic. If you go back and look at my older posts--i put more pics of my wedding too :) I dont even recognize Shawn!!!! You guys are such a great couple. Im so happy for you and your family. Love you LILLY!
And aren't we glad he found you! And I think you look even more beautiful today! I just had an interesting conversation with Abigail. She looking at your blog picture with me and said, "So did Aunt Lily already have a baby come out of her belly when she married Uncle Shawnie?" I guess that's never been a topic of conversation at our house. She's so matter of fact it's cute. Love oyou guys! :)
